WELL HEY THERE!
Hello, it’s me… Tabitha. Yeah that girl in the photo, I am probably thinking about what I am going to make for dinner or a funny meme I saw earlier and still laughing about.
Few things about me, for starters, I hate small talk. I am described as very personable and kind. I just want to basically be friends and chat about things that you find important. My favorite place is in the water. I am a mermaid with human legs, don’t argue with me about it it’s the truth.
I feel like being able to laugh at oneself is a must in life. I have split my pants in dance battles, crawled under cars for the perfect shot and even twerked with the bridal party. Let’s just say I know how to have fun, but don’t worry I will be conservative for the people in your life that need that. They say that you are who you are associated with, which leads me to...
Have you ever just done something that makes you feel like you’re in your element when you are doing it, just makes your soul happy and pushes you to want to constantly improve, all while doing something that has an positive impact on others?! Well that is how I feel about photography. I get to document important things in people’s lives, and make them feel amazing about themselves.
High school I would just document silly things like self-portraits for Myspace (yep, Myspace), then I dressed up friends and family when we went on outings, then my love for it just kept growing every time I would get my film back from development (disposable cameras were my jam).
Photography is not just telling a story but giving you a chance to reconnect to the memory attached to that photograph. Since everyone’s love story is different, your wedding should capture those unique memories you have attached to it. The sweet tears, huge smiles, quiet moments and just raw emotion of the day. That is what I want to capture for you, all while being a witness to those moments, I can’t help but passionately love my job just because of that.
“Why would anybody ever eat anything besides breakfast food?” that quote is either from Ron Swanson or by my husband aka my partner in crime, Myles. This hunk is a United States Marine and a personal trainer, so if you need a trainer to whip you in shape for your big day and in life, he is your guy. You are probably thinking, did she really just advertise for him… hell yes I did, support baby! He is super talented, growth minded and pretty easy on the eyes. ;)
He’s the person in my life that keeps me grounded with support, encouragement and a whole lotta tough love. That is definitely important to have when running a business by yourself, a strong support system. He helps me stay sane on those long work days.
We met in middle school (how crazy is that!?), I thought he was such a hunk with his pukka shell necklace and long highlighted straight hair, and boy those braces, ohhh baby!! Fast-forward to 2014 after years of AOL, and Myspace (I totally just dated myself) then Facebook we finally went on a date in California (that is where he was living at the time) on Valentine’s day… It was ONE HELL OF A DATE, because we got married 8 months later. Best decision ever! Myles teaches me patience, endurance and how to love in ways I did not know how.
I HOPE YOU...
Treat Yo Self on your wedding day. No for real, you shouldn’t have to worry if your photographer is doing their job and capturing important things on your special day. That day really should be stress free for you both, and all that you should worry about is partying with the people you love the most, worry-free. I trust that I have a purpose in this world, and it’s to connect with anyone I get the chance to meet. I am so blessed to be given the opportunity to connect with people in many different ways, and I think photography is definitely one of those ways.
Now that you know a lot about me, I would love to know more about you. Click on the BOOK ME button and fill out the questionnaire, telling me a little bit about you and your special someone, and maybe even a funny story to go along.
